ASSISI Museums and galleries - The Porziuncola Museum

The Porziuncola Museum is a permanent museum located within the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and is an integral part of the pilgrim itinerary that covers the Porziuncola, the Transito chapel and the Cappella delle Rose, in the footsteps of the saint.


Opening Time:
in autumn and Winter every day 9am-12.30 noon, 3-6pm;
in spring and summer every day 9am-12.30 noon, 3-6.30pm.

Closed Mondays


Intero Ticket: € 2,50



Reduced rate A: € 1,50

Groups of over 15;

Those aged 11 to 18;

University students;

Ticket holders for other museums within the Network of Church Museums in Umbria.



Reduced rate B: € 1,00

School groups.



Free Entrance:

Children under 10s;

Group leaders and those caring for a disabled person;

Priests and religious.


Visits finish 10 minutes before closing time.
